Chapter I · Shaoxing Studio
The journey began in a 40-square-meter studio in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China.Our very first collection consisted of only 10 hand-cut linen skirts. With no advertising campaigns and no large-scale promotion, every piece was sold out within one week — driven purely by thoughtful silhouettes, exceptional craftsmanship, and genuine recommendations from our customers.This humble beginning strengthened our founding belief: to create garments that truly stand the test of time, and to earn the trust of every woman who chooses to wear them.

XXIA is rooted in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China — a region with a profound textile heritage and centuries of craftsmanship.Here, the brand collaborates and exchanges ideas with traditional embroidery artisans and silk weaving specialists, exploring the timeless beauty of Eastern craftsmanship.The delicate elegance of Eastern techniques meets the structured silhouettes of Western fashion, gradually shaping XXIA’s distinctive design language: soft yet powerful, minimalist yet rich in detail.From Shaoxing, XXIA continues to explore the possibilities between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, bringing Eastern aesthetics into everyday wear through a more natural and modern expression.

In the same month, XXIA was featured by Vogue Paris and Harper’s Bazaar China. The New Chinese Style capsule collection achieved the fastest sales performance of any collection in the brand’s history.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China, the company is a comprehensive textile enterprise integrating research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service.We specialize in premium woven and non-woven fabrics, carefully selecting silk from Shengze, Suzhou, and cashmere from Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. Every fabric undergoes three rounds of tactile testing to ensure exceptional softness, texture, and quality.In 2019, the company expanded into the field of bio-based materials, independently developing PLA (polylactic acid), spunlace nonwoven fabrics, and advanced processing solutions.Today, our materials are widely applied across multiple industries, including contemporary women's fashion, home living, mother and baby care, beauty care, and medical hygiene products.

We believe true quality exists not only in the visible lines and silhouettes, but also in the countless thoughtful details created through every single stitch.
